Über die Art und den genauen Umfang war bislang kaum etwas bekannt. Angesetzt ist zunächst nur ein vermeintlicher Auftakt in Form eines erneuten Boxkampfes gegen die „Erzrivalin“ aus alten TV-Total-Tagen, Regina Halmich am 14. September. Laut dem Branchendienst „DWDL“ soll sich Raab darüber hinaus allerdings in fortgeschrittenen Verhandlungen über einen Mega-Deal mit dem Sender RTL befinden, der seiner Firma „Raab Entertainment“ potenziell 90 Millionen Euro einbringen könnte.

Der Entertainer und sein Team, darunter auch der ehemalige ProSieben-Senderchef Daniel Rosemann, arbeiten mit RTL Deutschland demnach bereits seit einigen Monaten an neuen Fernsehprojekten. Medienberichten zufolge könnte eines davon sogar bereits schon in den Startlöchern stehen.

Ein erstes neues Format soll einem Bericht der „Bild“ zufolge nämlich angeblich bereits direkt nach dem Boxkampf zwischen Halmich und Raab ausgestrahlt werden. Das wäre nur konsequent, denn die Einschaltquoten für diesen Event werden aller Voraussicht nach eine breite Bühne für eine neue Show bieten. Diese könnte dann zur Hauptsendezeit um 20:15 Uhr ausgestrahlt werden und somit direkt in Konkurrenz zur Neuauflage von Raabs altem Stammformat „TV total“ auf ProSieben treten.

Wie außerdem bekannt wurde, sollen sich auch die Musiker der TV-Band Heavytones, die seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten für die musikalische Begleitung bei „TV total“ verantwortlich zeichnen, von der Sendung verabschiedet haben, um einen Vertrag für die neue Show bei RTL zu unterschrieben.

Die genauen Details des Deals und der künftigen Projekte sind noch nicht vollständig öffentlich, jedoch deutet alles darauf hin, dass Raab und RTL eine umfassende Zusammenarbeit planen, die das deutsche Fernsehen nachhaltig beeinflussen könnte. RTL hat sich auf Anfrage von „Bild“ bisher jedoch nicht zu den angeblichen Plänen geäußert.
