Laut Berichten der „DailyMail“ fanden die Versöhnungsgespräche zwischen Noel und Liam während nächtlicher Telefonate statt. Diese überraschende Wendung führte nun zur Ankündigung einer großangelegten Tour. Die Tour wird in Großbritannien und Irland starten und umfasst 14 Konzerte in Städten wie Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh und Dublin im Sommer 2025. Dies sind die bisher einzigen bestätigten Auftritte in Europa, was die Tickets zu einer der begehrtesten Eintrittskarten des Jahrzehnts macht. Allerdings erklärten Oasis bereits: „Es ist geplant, dass OASIS LIVE ’25 im Laufe des nächsten Jahres auch auf anderen Kontinenten außerhalb Europas stattfinden wird.“ Somit sieht derzeit alles danach aus, dass ihre Tour zu einer Welttournee ausgebaut wird.

Das Comeback und die „Oasis Live '25“-Tour versprechen somit, ein wahrer Meilenstein in der Musikgeschichte zu werden. Aber auch eine der Lukrativsten, denn wie berichtet wird, könnte die Wiedervereinigung der Band, einschließlich Tour und Merchandise, rund 400 Millionen Pfund (etwa 472 Millionen Euro) einbringen. Davon könnten dann jeweils 50 Millionen Pfund (circa 59 Millionen Euro) an die beiden Gallagher-Brüder gehen.

Oasis haben nicht nur durch ihre unvergesslichen Hits wie „Wonderwall“, „Don't Look Back in Anger“ oder „Supersonic“, sondern auch durch ihre kontroversen Schlagzeilen und öffentlichen Streitigkeiten die Musikszene geprägt. Das Debütalbum „Definitely Maybe“ erschien vor 30 Jahren und das Nachfolgealbum „(What's The Story) Morning Glory?“ zählt noch heute zu den meistverkauften Alben in Großbritannien.

Der Verkauf für die Tickets der „Oasis Live '25“-Tour beginnt bereits am 31. August 2024 um 10 Uhr deutscher Zeit über bekannte Ticketplattformen wie ticketmaster.co.uk, gigsandtours.com oder seetickets.com. Tickets für das Dublin-Konzert sind ausschließlich über ticketmaster.ie ab 9 Uhr erhältlich.
